New entries only between these times (blank = default: 09:38 to 14:15 for selling and spread, 09:35 for buying). Allowed 09:16 to 15:00; open positions still square off at 15:15. The early-stop recovery trade needs the first stop before 10:00 (13:00 with that switch), so a 10:00 start rules it out unless the 13:00 switch is on.

Max daily loss blocks new entries once today's closed loss reaches it. It is not a per-trade stop.

Rule changes (all off = original rules) 5-minute timeframe All strategies: signals and indicators on 5-minute candles; entries only when a 5-min candle closes. Stop = 1.8x the 5-min ATR (25-85 pts), so stops are usually wider. Stops and targets are still checked on every price. 100 pts OTM short SELL_SPREAD: sell 100 pts out of the money instead of 50 pts in the money; hedge 300 pts beyond it. Not together with ATM short. ATM short strike SELL_SPREAD: sell the ATM option instead of 50 pts ITM. Hedge stays 300 pts beyond it. Combined spread stop SELL_SPREAD: exit when short-leg loss minus hedge gain reaches the ATR stop (in option points). Nifty backstop at 2.5x the ATR stop. Trailing stop unchanged. True VWAP (futures volume) All strategies: the Nifty index has no volume, so VWAP is normally weighted by each candle's high-low range. This weights it by the current-month NIFTY futures volume instead. If futures data is missing for a day, it falls back to the old method and alerts you. Let winners run All strategies: reaching the target does not close the trade. The stop jumps to target minus half the initial stop, then trails the best price by that distance until hit or the 15:15 square-off. Gap filter SELL_SPREAD: no short signal when today opened 20+ pts above yesterday's close, no long signal when it opened 20+ pts below. Untested on live data: try in PAPER first. Recovery trade until 13:00 SELL_SPREAD: allow the 2nd trade if the first stop-out is before 13:00 (was 10:00); re-entry until 14:15 (was 11:45).

Stop / emergency

Stop ends the bot loop but leaves any open position in Kite.
Kill switch squares off the open position (and hedge) at market, blocks new entries, then stops.

Compare the spread rule changes Adds ATM short, combined stop, 13:00 recovery, all three, gap filter, and combined stop + gap filter on the same dates (6 more runs).

Fills use the real 1-minute option candle plus 0.325 pts slippage. Maximum 45 days. Expired contracts may be missing from Kite, so those trades use estimated prices and are counted.
